Why Dentistry?

It was a simple process of elimination. I think this is a profession you learn to love rather than something you have a passion for at a young age. Certainly, couldn't see myself doing anything else now.

What would you say is your dental philosophy?

My dental philosophy is simple. I want my patients to understand that dentistry is not painful or expensive. negligence is!! So, I keep preaching the importance of good oral hygiene.

How often should someone see a dentist?

Twice a year for a clean and check-up. We tend to find problems at an early stage this way and can nip them in the bud before they get worse.

What are the new and exciting concepts currently emerging in dentistry?

New and exciting trend is laser dentistry. I think this is where dentistry is headed and it’s very exciting as a practitioner to bring this new technology to my patients.

Who is Rohit outside of dentistry?

A complete sports freak. Wish I had the time to play more sports but on weekends I could sit with the remote and flip through supersport channels the whole day!
